A tasteful journey
Get to know more about saffron at the biggest saffron nursery in Belgium. Saffron is one of the most expensive and valuable of all the spices, which it is why it is also called “red gold”. During your visit you will learn about the history of saffron, its special (healing) properties and, of course, its use with food and cooking. You will also be given a summary of this special plant about which there have been mysteries for centuries… And afterwards there will also be a saffron sampling session.
